As you all know I'm a big fan of orcon or should i say was!
If you are with Orcon check your bill regularly Orcon have been overcharging me for the last 12 months in not 1 but 2 areas: 1. Orcon Gold@home plan $99 including GST. But Orcon were charging me $110.35 p/month since January 09 = I overpaid $121 It might appear as $99 on your bill but then they add GST instead of it being i.e. $88 + $11(gst) = $99 2. Additional data usage increased to from $1 p/Gb to $2 p/Gb on May 23, 2009 however i was charged $2 p/Gb since Dec 23, 2008 = I overpaid $68.92. I found out this was because i was taken off LLU and put on Telecom wholesale do to cabnitisation but I was never told of the data charge increase. Total amount overpaid to Orcon since Dec 08 = $190!!! Watch your bills like a hawk !! --------------------  you will beh respectin ma authoritai! |

Only grumble I had recently with Orcon was other week. Came home and had no phone or internet. Call Orcon help number on my mobile and get a telecom automated recording telling me that number is not available. Can only assume that Orcon had a total meltdown and lost their phones as well......but then there was never a mention on their website for outages relating to it afterwards.
Other than that I prefer to Orcon to Telecom any day --------------------  |
